Can we bring our dogs to the festival and the
campgrounds?
Unfortunately, dogs are not
allowed on the festival grounds.
Is
there a bank and ATM in Red Rock?
There is an ATM (automated teller
machine) in Red Rock at Northern Credit Union,
located at 65 Salls Street. You can walk there
in approximately 5 minutes. After you leave the
festival grounds, walk up White Street toward
the t-intersection where White meets Salls, and
turn right. The Credit Union is open on Thursday
from 9:00am to 5:30pm, on Friday from 9:00am to
1:00pm and closed on Saturday and Sunday. The
ATM is open 24 hours.
There is also a 24 hour ATM at
the Royal Bank in Nipigon (157 Railway Street).
The bank is open on Thursdays from 9:30am to
5:00pm, Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm and is
closed on Saturday.
Where is the nearest grocery store?
Saunders Foodland is open from
9:00am to 6:00pm everyday, but closed on
Sundays. You can use cash, debit or credit
cards. From the festival grounds, walk up White
Street toward the t-intersection where White
meets Salls and turn left.
There is also a grocery store in
Nipigon, Zechner’s, located at 155 Railway
Street. The store is open on Thursday and
Fridays from 9:00am to 8:00pm, from 9:00am to
6:00pm on Saturday and from 12noon to 4:00pm on
Sunday. You can use cash, debit or credit cards.
Where is the nearest LCBO and Beer Store?
There is an LCBO in Red Rock,
located at 125 Salls Street. From the festival
grounds, walk up White Street toward the
t-intersection where White meets Salls and turn
left. The LCBO also sells beer. The store is
open on Thursdays from 9:30am to 6:00pm on
Thursday, Friday and Saturday and is closed on
Sunday. You can use cash, debit or credit cards.
You can find an LCBO and a Beer
Store in Nipigon. The LCBO is located at 21 3rd
Street (807-887-2630). The Beer Store is open
from 10:00am until 6:00pm on Thursday, from
10:00am until 9:00pm on Friday and from 9:30am
until 6:00pm on Saturdays. The store is closed
on Sundays. The store is located at 154 Railway
Street. You can use cash, debit or credit cards.
Where is the nearest convenience store?
The Quick Mart is open every day
from 7:00am to 9:00pm. You can use cash or debi
only. You will find convenience items, some
groceries, ready-made sandwiches, ice,
newspapers, magazines and lottery tickets. From
the festival grounds, walk up White Street
toward the t-intersection where White meets
Salls and turn left.
There is a Mac’s Convenience in
Nipigon, located at 147 6th Street.
It is open 24 hours on Thursday, Friday and
Saturday and then closes at 11:00pm on Sunday.
There is an ATM machine. A Subway is located
inside the store – however, the hours are not
the same as the store.
Where
is the nearest drug store?
The nearest drug store is in
Nipigon; Fould’s Rexall Pharmacy at 54 Front
Street. The store is open 9:00am to 6:00pm on
Monday through Friday and 9:00am to 5:00pm on
Saturday. The store is closed on Sunday. A
pharmacist is available when the store is open.
Where is
the nearest hospital?
The nearest hospital and
emergency room is located in Nipigon.
Where is the nearest police department?
The Ontario Provincial Police detachment is
located on Highway 11/17 between Red Rock and
Nipigon. The OPP patrol the town of Red Rock.
Can I
call 911?
Yes, 911 service is available and
will connect you to emergency services including
ambulance, fire and police.
Where
is the nearest gas station?
All gas stations are located in the town of
Nipigon along Highway 11/17. The Husky is open
24 hours and is located on the outskirts of
Nipigon, between Nipigon and Red Rock.
Where is the nearest auto mechanic?
These services are available in

Where can we eat, off the festival grounds?
The Red Rock Inn (807-886-2111)
offers a dining room. In addition, light snacks
are available at the Northern Sights Studio
Gallery and Coffee House, located at 47 Salls
Street (807-866-2424).
Several restaurants are located
on Highway 11/17 between Nipigon and Red Rock
and several others can be found off the
