The
“Live From the Rock” Folk Festival is
located in Pull- a- Log Park on the
scenic shores of Lake Superior. Bring
a friend, a lawn chair (low ones are
best), waterproof tarp, rain gear,
warm clothes for the evening, a
flashlight, bug spray, sunscreen, a
hat, comfortable foot wear, reusable
drinking cup and some cash to purchase
crafts, CDs, festival souvenirs or
some tasty treats from the food

Join the Red Rock Historical Society for a
town tour. Learn more about this community that was carved
from a forest at the edge of Lake Superior in the 1930’s.

times and locations, are being finalized.

Greet the day with yoga. Nancy Hall, from
Sanctuary Yoga, will be offering sessions on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday mornings. Start times will be posted
soon.

Create a one-of-a-kind piece of art. By pounding flowers you
will release the natural pigments and dye the fabric. You
can frame the finished piece, or you can use it in a sewing
or quilting project. Please check back for more information;
details, including times and locations, are being finalized.

Have fun with face painting and crafts!
Activities for “Little Folks” will be available in the area
next to the Family Tent. Children will also be able to take
part in the children’s parade on Saturday afternoon –
costumes and instruments will be provided but everyone is
invited to bring their own if they choose! The parade will
include some of the weekend’s performers who will lead the
group up to the main stage. Visit the “Little Folks” area

Take to the lake in a 16-passenger voyageur canoe. After
making the trek from Rossport, the canoe will be staying for
the weekend. Look for the canoe on the festival grounds.
